Of course they can!
Some learnt to touch type decades ago when they were at school or college and others have learnt more recently. In fact, many of my tutors are ex-students of mine.
As they have been through the Type IT! touch typing course themselves, they are able to steer and guide learners quickly and easily through the course.
We are all a little competitive with each other when it comes to our typing speed! I think Dhruv holds the current record with 102wpm!
Our tutors come from all backgrounds – teachers, charity workers, PAs, college and university students. Some even tutor whilst working full time in another job.
What we all have in common is that we throughly enjoy helping others learn this incredible skill. It doesn’t feel like a job. It’s more about building relationships and the final result is so super rewarding.
